1. Who is responsible for your data
Andes Conecta is an initiative of NIKKEI PRODUTORA E EDITORA LTDA., a Brazilian company registered under CNPJ no. 46.422.211/0001-13, which acts as the data controller for the personal data collected on this page.

2. What data we collect
a) Data you provide in the form:
- name, email address and WhatsApp number;
- country of origin, profession or field of work, and residence status in Chile;
- your interests in the community and, optionally, your biggest challenge in Chile;
- your communication preferences (whether you want to receive updates by email and/or WhatsApp).
b) Data recorded automatically when you submit the form:
- date and time of sign-up and the language used on the site;
- traffic source, when the link contains campaign parameters (UTM), for example the group or social network where the link was shared;
- the address of the page you came from (when your browser provides it);
- technical identification of your browser and operating system (for example, "Chrome on Android").
We do not store your IP address in our sign-up database and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site may store only usage preferences, such as your chosen language, in your own browser.
3. How we use your data
Your data is used exclusively to develop the Andes Conecta HUB and platform, for the following purposes:
- to validate public interest in Andes Conecta;
- to understand the community's main professional, educational and business-formalization challenges;
- to identify which outreach channels bring in the most interested people;
- to notify you about the platform launch;
- to send you updates and invitations to events, workshops and networking groups only through the channels you authorize (email and/or WhatsApp).
We do not use your data for any other purpose.
4. Legal basis
We process your data based on your consent, given when you submit the form and select the communication options, in accordance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018 – LGPD) and Chile's Law No. 19,628, as amended by Law No. 21,719. You may withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge.
5. Email and WhatsApp communications
The options to receive updates by email and by WhatsApp are optional and independent: you can choose one, both or neither. To stop receiving messages, simply reply asking to unsubscribe or write to contato@andesconecta.cl. Unsubscribing from communications does not delete your sign-up; if you also want it deleted, just ask.
6. Who processes the data
We do not sell, rent or transfer your data to advertisers, data brokers or any third parties for commercial purposes. To run this page we rely only on the following service providers, which process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms:

These providers may process data on servers located outside Brazil and Chile. In such cases, the international transfer takes place under the contractual and security safeguards offered by these providers.
Data may also be disclosed to public authorities when required by law or court order.
7. Aggregated and anonymous use
For internal planning, research reports or institutional presentations (such as innovation grant applications), responses may be consolidated in a fully anonymous and aggregated form (e.g. "60% of sign-ups are looking for help with tax formalization"), so that no individual can be identified.
8. Storage and security
Data is stored on Google's infrastructure, which uses encryption in transit and at rest, with access restricted to the Andes Conecta founding team. We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss or alteration of your data.
9. How long we keep your data
Data will be kept for as long as necessary to validate our audience and for the potential development of the Andes Conecta platform. Once these purposes have been fulfilled, the data will be deleted or anonymized, unless the law requires it to be retained. You may request deletion earlier, at any time.
10. Your rights
Under the LGPD (Brazil) and Chilean data protection law, you may, at any time and free of charge:
- confirm whether we process your data and access it;
- correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
- request the deletion of your data;
- object to the processing or request that it be blocked;
- request the portability of your data;
- find out which entities process your data;
- withdraw your consent, including for email or WhatsApp communications.
To exercise any of these rights, write to contato@andesconecta.cl. We will respond within the time limits set by applicable law. You may also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) or Chile's Personal Data Protection Agency.
11. Audience
Andes Conecta is intended for people aged 18 and over.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated at any time. Any change will be published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
